Among all different type of photography categories, underwater photography is probably one of the most difficult to master. To take a perfect shot, you need to get the accurate focus, controlled movement of your subject, correct exposure, pleasing color balance, and a light adjustment because you have to deal with low light.
Underwater photography requires a very specially designed equipment and the advanced knowledge of some techniques to get a perfect picture. One cool creative mix in these underwater photos are split-shot photography technique where half of the photo is above water that allows photographer to take a peek below water surface. It also known as Over-under photography. For a perfect split-shot, you have to take these photos with very wide fisheye lens, in a large dome port, using a small aperture for good depth of field.
