If you ever been an unfortunate victim of a bike theft, then you must know how devastating it is for the bike owner. Bike theft is unfortunately common. No bike can be fully theft proof, but we can do several things to make stealing it more difficult and riskier to the thief.

A study in Montreal found that while about half of the city’s cyclists had been victims of bike theft, only about a third (one-sixth of all cyclists) reported their theft to police.
